She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and has held positions at Northeastern University, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and University of Maryland’s Center for Advanced Study of Language. Dr. Wayland is passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, both professionally and as a parent. She’s the founder and owner of Guiding Exceptional Parents (GuidingExceptionalParents.com), and hosts several online training programs, with her friend Penny Williams, at their online resource The Behavior Revolution (TheBehaviorRevolution.com).
